This weekend I was volunteering with the Creole Tomato Festival and encountered several members of Art Janitorial’s team in the French Market. I want to take a moment to say how fantastic they were. To be frank: they work their butts off! Each and every person, from the young men to the older ladies and gentlemen never stop moving. The are like bees in the hive keeping the Market clean. As a resident of New Orleans for 25 plus years I know the visitors to our great city sometimes don’t treat her with the care they do their own home towns and we have to spend some extra time picking up after our guests. Your team does an amazing job of that. Thank you to Ms Louise and the rest of your team for a job well done.

FRENCH QUARTER FEST 2017: GETTING DIRTY WITH THE CLEANEST KREWE AROUND

As your favorite musicians hit the stages at French Quarter Fest this year, there was a different kind of krewe hitting the festival grounds.
I noticed something I hadn’t before—a sharp looking group of people dressed head-to-toe in black and on each t-shirt read, “ART Keeping it Clean” framed with whimsical angel wings. They were maneuvering in and out of the crowd with such ease that no one really noticed them. They were doing something very important, though. They were cleaning up everyone else’s trash.
“It’s not an easy job; it’s not a glamorous job, but we take care of our people,” states Amy Blanchard, CEO of ART Janitorial Services, LLC.
